Joe Rogan: Jiu-Jitsu, Judo and Wrestling are Absolute Martial Arts

Lex Fridman, research scientists at MIT, who is working on human-centered artificial intelligence, was a guest a Joe Rogan Experience podcast. Fridman also describes himself as a Judo and BJJ guy:

“I spend almost all my time to do research in computer science, and whatever free time is left I spend training in judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. It’s a grappling martial art that’s often referred to as the game of human chess. It challenges me physically and mentally.”

Lex Fridman and Joe Rogan talked about all kind of martial arts including BJJ, its effectiveness and everything that martial arts can offer to you. Joe said :

“Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and wrestling those are absolute martial arts. They’re the hardest… You have control of the body. There are no lucky triangle chokes. My experience with Jiu-Jitsu was very humbling… is the truest martial art. ”
